Captains Welcome
It is a great honour for us to be elected as Captain, Lady Captain and Junior Captain of Royal Curragh Golf Club for 2024 and we look forward to welcoming all our members, their guests and visitors to our historic golf club in 2024.
Royal Curragh Golf Club, Irelands oldest Golf Course and Club where golf has been played on the links near Donnelly’s Hollow since the 1850’s has consistently been voted one of Ireland’s top 100 courses, and offers a unique golfing experience for all skill levels over a course that is presented in immaculate condition year round thanks to our highly skilled greenkeeping team that are continually striving for improvement.
Royal Curragh has a well established reputation for being a friendly, family orientated club and we are conscious that the ethos and traditions that we have inherited and now gives us so much pleasure must be protected and improved upon so that we can pass it on to future generations.
As a members club, we have a full diary of events which include over thirty open events including our Newbridge Silverware Open Series and visitors can be assured of a warm welcome at all times from our members, our professional, our office, bar and catering staff.
We hope that our new website gives you a feel for our history and a sense of the golfing treat and facilities that await you at Royal Curragh Golf Club.
We hope to get the opportunity to meet you should you visit Royal Curragh Golf Club during the year.
David O'Hora, Marie O'Mara & Sam Neville, Captains 2024
